Countdown to DTW Ignite! With George Malim, Managing Editor of Agile Telco, to Chair Autonomous Networks session

We are delighted to be appointed a Media Partner to DTW Ignite 2026, TM Forum’s flagship event for the global telecoms and technology industry. Taking place in Copenhagen from 23–25 June 2026, DTW Ignite brings together senior telecoms leaders, technology innovators and ecosystem partners to explore the next phase of industry transformation.

Our Managing Editor, George Malim, will also be chairing a key Autonomous Networks session: “Reinventing network operations — new performance, new possibilities” on 23 June 2026, from 14:15–15:15, on the Park Stage.

Part of the Autonomous Networks programme, the session will examine how automation and AI are redefining network operations and unlocking new levels of performance. Topics will include faster fault resolution, adaptive optimisation, predictive operations, improved service quality, stronger network stability and operational excellence.

The session will feature contributions from senior industry figures including Yue Wang, Chief Technologist – Next-gen ICT at China Telecom; Amol Phadke, Chief Transformation Officer at Tech Mahindra; Sukhdeep Singh Gill, Chief Digital Officer at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison; Mark Austin, VP, Data Science at AT&T; Thomas Steagall, Sr. Director, Industry Advisory Telco & Media at Microsoft; Jamie Gaudette, Vice President, Networking & Infrastructure at Microsoft; and Vivek Jaiswal, SVP, Autonomous Networks at Nokia.

As Managing Editor of Agile Telco, Malim covers the technologies and strategies shaping optimised operations for modern connectivity providers, including AI-native networks, automation, autonomous operations, OSS/BSS transformation, digital twins and the evolution of the telco operating model.

“Autonomous networks are no longer just about reducing manual work,” said George Malim, Managing Editor of Agile Telco. “They are changing what networks can achieve. The discussion at DTW Ignite will focus on how AI and automation can help operators improve operational performance, service quality and network resilience while creating the foundations for more adaptive, intelligent telecoms operations.”

The session reflects the growing industry focus on autonomous network maturity, AI-driven operations and the practical steps needed to move from fragmented automation towards more predictive, adaptive and service-aware networks.

Agile Telco continues to explore these themes in its latest edition, which covers AI-native infrastructure, autonomous networks, agentic AI, Level 4 autonomy, multi-agent AI in BSS and the rise of the autonomous telco.
